There was a bit of a scare on Neopets the other day regarding unauthorized access to anyone’s Neomail. Someone clearly was able to do so and posted a bunch to a website somewhere, but it is not clear how widespread the problem was or if it was pulled off by a disgruntled staff member.
Innyhoo…I created a board asking if people remembered that one time that some guy posted Neomails to and from other people (as it had happened minutes before and he got frozen). Bat posted on the board saying that he puts stuff in Neomails that he wouldn’t want others to know about. In standard BD Chat fashion, I responded “Learn_to_Mail_Order_Bride”. A few minutes later, the board poofed and I was suspended for 48 hours.
The definition of “Mail Order Bride” doesn’t exactly seem all that naughty or over the top, so I suspect someone on TNT just wanted to see that board (and all references to the Neomail security breaches) disappear. Suspending my ass was the quickest path to that result.
Oh well. Good times.

It’s so funny when I see those screenies, because what if a 6 year old got suspended and then he learned the word ‘porn’. xD Not to be a pervert. D:

I was suspended for saying crap, sucks, talking about Sept, 11th, and gay people.
Being gay isn’t inappropriate.
